Default Skill Suggestion

I know the ArenaNet team must be pinching themselves to think up some new skills, so here's a nice, unique one I came up with, I'll probably add more later. Not only is this a unique skill, but it will teach people to call the hexes and conditions on them, making it a more important aspect of the game. I just have to think of a nice energy cost/charge time/cooldown time. I'll put what I think is fair, but will modify it if any better ideas come up.

Doom (Necromancer... Curses)

Hex spell. For (56..20) seconds, target foe experiences health and energy regeneration of (3..1). If Doom is not removed before its duration expires, target foe dies.

Energy Cost: 15. Cast time: 6 Seconds. Recharge time: 60 Seconds.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
(note: When an ally attempts to remove a single hex from target, and they have multiple hexes on at a time, Doom is removed first).

Oh, this is a necromancer hex, not a mesmer hex. Sorry for not clarifying.

you understand that in gw terminology, "ends" effects trigger even when the hex is removed by force, right?

Well, it's overpowered for one. Like having an enchantment of invincibility. Sure you can strip or rip it, but...

That would be the single most overpowered skill in the game... ever.... Forget Nature's Renewal, forget Ether Renewal, forget every single disrutpion ranger skill combined - this would break the game.

What about competition arena, where yourn't guarenteed a monk or mesmer? What if other people are stacking hexes on top of it? Convert Hexes is the only skill that will remove them all and has a hefty Energy/Recharge cost. What if your hex remover is shut down?

Put it this way - as a Warrior, if my healing monk is shutdown, I still have means to survive. If this skill were implemented, and I could not get a hex removal, I'd die.

People use hex removal in arenas? That's a good one.

I wouldn't mind seeing it in PvE as a "monster only" skill, like giant stomp, nibble etc.
